Looking for Sponsorship Dollars for your Festival or Event?

So your usual sponsors are a little slow in coming to the table this year? Seek out some of the unusual businesses.

Dentists, plastic surgeons, nutritionists, temporary staffing agencies - just some ideas on non-traditional advertisers. When the economy is bad, people put off getting some medical work done, particularly if it is cosmetic in nature. That's why you see so many plastic surgeons advertising in upper scale magazines and on TV. Worldwide, temp agencies are touting their services to help companies fill jobs.

No, none of these will most likely ante up a large amount of cash for you, but the dollars add up.

MARKETING TIP: Look for the non-traditional sponsor. Be sure to create a package with a What's In It For Me (WIFM). Everyone wants to know that.
