May - Cross-Promote Similiar Events

Consider at your event or attraction that you have a captive audience. People are there because you have created something they like, a draw. To build upon that, consider cross-promoting similar events or attractions.

For instance, zoo goers like to go to different zoos. No, you're not going to lose that visitor by promoting another one, you're going to build each other's attendance base.

The same concept goes with historic homes, museums and festivals. Your attendees came for a particular reason. Wouldn't they like to know about similar types of places? Sure they would!

May Marketing Tip -- Develop a relationship with as many "similar" types of events, attractions, festivals as possible to increase attendance - for you and for everyone else.
