"The Spirit of Christmas with the Living Strings" .... the absolute best Christmas album ever recorded. When I worked in television years ago, I, along with others at the station, wrote, produced and directed commercials and special segments for newscasts. I loved to use this album - not a CD - as background music.

We had to cue up the record manually, that means winding it backwards one half spin. Just that little distance gave the turntable time to bring the part I wanted to hear to full speed.

So as we draw to the end of 2010 - and to Christmas - I hope you'll enjoy this album as much as I have - for many, many years.
