What does your kids area look like at your festival? Does it include something children can color, paint or ride? How about throwing out the old and bringing in something new?
Science and math.
I just attended the first National Science and Engineering Festival in Washington, D.C. It was the culmination of events around the United States to recognize and celebrate two overlooked fields - science and math.
The pathways at this event were packed with kids - all day long for 2 days. And, they had fun!
MARKETING TIP: The new trend is to tap into science and technology. You can incorporate it into your event very easily. One way is to get in touch with your local science classes. I bet they have something in their tool box that will work much better than what you've been using at your festival - and for a lot less money!
