A recent entry on LinkedIn asked how you should use your Website domain when promoting an event. My answer is that you use your domain name on everything - advertisements, press releases, business cards, raffle tickets, admission tickets, banners, signs, T-shirts that you sell, T-shirts for staff and the list goes on.
I was a little surprised that someone would ask that question, but I suppose not everyone looks at a Website as a sales and marketing tool. It's a strategy that really should have a marketing plan itself.
MARKETING TIP: Festival organizers, be sure to put your Website domain on everything!
