Writing about oneself is difficult. You try not to boast or brag, but it's not very often a person receives two honors in one day. This morning, I learned this blog has been ranked 11 out of the 80 Essential Blogs for Modern Day Marketing Students...

This afternoon, I learned that two press releases from 2009 for the Asheboro Chili Cookoff won first place in the "multiple releases" category in a competition held by the N.C. Press Women. My submission advances automatically to the National Federation of Press Women. I should learn over the summer how I fare.
